The village of Lochearnhead has a village shop and the local Post Office for those little necessities. In Killin you will find the local Co-Op, and in Callander there is the local Co-Op and Tesco. Both locations offer local bakers, butchers and fruit shops. Killin and Callander both have a wide range of outdoor clothing and tourist shops. For a broader selection of shops why not try Crieff, or for those wishing to travel further afield and seeking a larger choice of shops why not visit Stirling, Perth, Glasgow or Edinburgh.

ACTIVITIES

For those outdoor sporty types why not visit Active Scotland. Situated a 5 minute walk from the log cabin at the Lochearnhead Water Sports Centre, Active Scotland offers Waterskiing, Wakeboarding, Kneeboarding and Inflatable rides. Lessons are available for complete beginners through to the more experienced sports person. For those not wishing to get quite so close to the water why not try a speed boat trip down the Loch, or browse through the shop indoors.

Situated only 5 minutes drive from the lodge is Drummond Fish Farm and Boat Hire. The fish farm rents out small 5hp boats for a leisurely cruise around the loch or for some serious fishing time to catch the plentiful Brown and Rainbow Trout. Those not equipped with sea-legs can enjoy bank fishing around the loch, although a permit is required.
